Business owners who are trying to promote their website often ask what is better: reciprocal or one-way links to their web site from the Link building Services or the services offering them the service to buy high PR links. Before we get into the pros and cons of each, lets first take a look at what the differences between them are. First, reciprocal links are when you link to a website and that website links back to you. Think of it as you and friend get together with complementary businesses and say your clients tend to use my service and my clients tend to use your service. How about I link to you and you link to me? Next, one-way links are when someone finds your website so interesting (and this can be for good or bad reasons) that they have to point it out and link to it. Maybe you wrote an article on a topic that is just so good that other web sites feel compelled to share it with their visitors. Or, maybe you wrote an article so controversial that people had to point out how crazy you were. Either way, if they link to you and you do not link back to them, that is a one-way link. The general consensus on, which is better, is that search engines generally give more weight to someone linking to your website using a one-way link and tend to discount the value of you having exchanged links with another site. So, if you can, try to get one-way links to your web site with the help of professional Link building Services of do it on your own. Does this mean that you cannot successfully market a website by utilizing traditional reciprocal link exchange strategies? No. In fact you can use reciprocal links to build a strong presence and vastly improve both your traffic from direct traffic from those links and the boost that search engines tend to give web sites that have lots of incoming links with just reciprocal links.

Whoever is in the Internet business and anyone concerned about Search Engine Optimization cannot deny the importance of link building for the purpose of better Search Engine Optimization. Link building is the process through which you can get the maximum number of back links for your website which in turn would help the betterment of your search engine ranking. Here in this article we shall discuss about some of the link building procedures especially the reciprocal link building.
The reciprocal link building is the process of trading links between two websites. It is somewhat like a deal that one would post the link of the other while the other would do the same in return. But in this matter it is often seen that many websites that link to any and all sites that are willing to link to them. But be sure that this is not much of a good practice. This doesnât work much with the search engines. The search engine have devices to protect themselves from such irrelevant links and thus there are lesser chances of your advancement though you have gathered a number of back links. The fact is that the search engines always seek for relevant links so that they can provide relevant results to their users. While inbound links are part of search engine algorithms but the fact is that the way these links are calculated, changes constantly. They might be doing this in order to protect themselves from irrelevant links as well as to test the ability of the webmasters or the SEOs to manipulate their rankings with reciprocal links. Therefore there is always the need to evolve the strategies of building reciprocal links in order to cope up with the changing algorithms of the search engines. And along with this there are some points that are to be given priority. It is that we should always give priority to the relevancy rather than Page Ranking, which would automatically generate the Page Ranking. It is also to be checked that the recips arenât being blocked.
It is an important thing to check blocked recips. Now the question is what are blocked recips? It is sometimes seen that some of the unethical webmasters or some SEOs block the links back from search engine spiders. By doing this it seems that the links appear to be one-way links as opposed to reciprocal links and their site appears to be having fewer outbound links. Therefore you can easily understand that the websites practicing such means cannot help you in any respect. Hence such websites should be avoided to build reciprocal links. Now to find out whether the site you are trying to build link with is having blocked recips, check the source code for the robots tag. And if it is set to âno index, no followâ then be sure that the page is being blocked and is not much of help to you. In some cases the robots.txt file is being used to block search engine spiders. In that case look for the robots.txt at the root of the domain and you can see the files or folders that that are blocked. Now if you find the links pages and the directory pages in this list then it is better for you not to exchange links with them.
There are also some other tactics that can lead to blocked recips and if such tresses are found it is better not to exchange links with such websites as they canât help you any way.

Whoever is in the Internet business and anyone concerned about Search Engine Optimization cannot deny the importance of link building for the purpose of better Search Engine Optimization. Link building is the process through which you can get the maximum number of back links for your website which in turn would help the betterment of your search engine ranking. Here in this article we shall discuss about some of the link building procedures especially the reciprocal link building.
The reciprocal link building is the process of trading links between two websites. It is somewhat like a deal that one would post the link of the other while the other would do the same in return. But in this matter it is often seen that many websites that link to any and all sites that are willing to link to them. But be sure that this is not much of a good practice. This doesnât work much with the search engines. The search engine have devices to protect themselves from such irrelevant links and thus there are lesser chances of your advancement though you have gathered a number of back links. The fact is that the search engines always seek for relevant links so that they can provide relevant results to their users. While inbound links are part of search engine algorithms but the fact is that the way these links are calculated, changes constantly. They might be doing this in order to protect themselves from irrelevant links as well as to test the ability of the webmasters or the SEOs to manipulate their rankings with reciprocal links. Therefore there is always the need to evolve the strategies of building reciprocal links in order to cope up with the changing algorithms of the search engines. And along with this there are some points that are to be given priority. It is that we should always give priority to the relevancy rather than Page Ranking, which would automatically generate the Page Ranking. It is also to be checked that the recips arenât being blocked.
It is an important thing to check blocked recips. Now the question is what are blocked recips? It is sometimes seen that some of the unethical webmasters or some SEOs block the links back from search engine spiders. By doing this it seems that the links appear to be one-way links as opposed to reciprocal links and their site appears to be having fewer outbound links. Therefore you can easily understand that the websites practicing such means cannot help you in any respect. Hence such websites should be avoided to build reciprocal links. Now to find out whether the site you are trying to build link with is having blocked recips, check the source code for the robots tag. And if it is set to âno index, no followâ then be sure that the page is being blocked and is not much of help to you. In some cases the robots.txt file is being used to block search engine spiders. In that case look for the robots.txt at the root of the domain and you can see the files or folders that that are blocked. Now if you find the links pages and the directory pages in this list then it is better for you not to exchange links with them.
There are also some other tactics that can lead to blocked recips and if such tresses are found it is better not to exchange links with such websites as they canât help you any way.

The trick is to know which options to use and how to drive traffic with articles, using social media sites, search engine optimization and networking opportunities. Once you understand how to make this work, you can master several different methods to drive steady streams of interested visitors to your website.
One of the keys for any web site success is how good the site is placed in the (SERPs) search engines results pages. Every search engine you find determines top spots by the same manner – link popularity. You’ll be able to accomplish this by using free reciprocal link exchanges. The more links you have that are from other high quality sites determine what kind of lead you have on the other sites to gain that sought after top spot. If you have set up hundreds of quality and relevant link exchanges, the more links that you have the better chance you have of getting good position. Therefore, free reciprocal link exchange is a good count. The most significant factor that Google uses in determining PageRank is the total number of links pointing to it which makes free incoming links exchange invaluable. The sites that have a higher PageRank will tend to rank higher in the search results, and reciprocally they will receive more visitors from Google. This is because they are the most popular search engine in the world which implies that advancing your site’s Google PageRank can be the way toward increasing the number of visitors your site receives. When used properly, link exchanges can greatly help with your targeted traffic, however if you get this wrong it can be a waste of time.

With thousands of new sites created every day, the Internet is quickly becoming a crowded marketplace. Many of these sites desire to provide their viewers with the best design. But, what few fail to realize is the importance of perfecting the online content and also providing links on their pages.
Links on a business’s website is just as important as the sites content. Links can either be incoming, outgoing, or internal. Where those specific links lead to or come from is also critical.
If you have studied Search Engine Optimization lately, you should know that in order to receive high ranking you must fine-tune your design strategy to produce better results. That is where internal and external links come into play.
An internal link is a navigational link that leads viewers from one page to another on the website. The opposite of that is an external link. An external link leads a visitor to other sites outside of the current one.
Links should be relevant to the content of the page. They must also lead to other websites which contain related subject. For example, a pet sitting business has external links that lead to an art gallery. Because pet care and art have no relevance to one another, little significance is gained from this connection.
After you have taken the time into creating a link strategy and a link structure in hopes of increasing traffic flow to your site, you should also take some sort of action to ensure that you have the most effective links possible. Try to monitor your links for proficient linking. When your content changes, be sure to modify links. Also, delete broken links that may occur. Because monitoring can be very time consuming, it is best to use link analysis software. This software can help with every aspect of linking ranging from placing new links to monitoring the links you may already have available.

The following few steps will help you analyse the risks and opportunities associated with moving your website, so that you don’t end up messing things up for your online business, especially for your search engine optimisation prospects.
Don’t move the website at one go. Test the relocation process by moving the contents of one directory or sub-domain first. Use a 301 Permanent Redirect to from your old web pages to the new destination. The search engines will get to know that your site has permanently relocated and that old URLs indexed by them should be replaced by the new URLs that the new site will contain.
Once you have completed the 301 redirects, keep a close watch on your web pages’ indexation. Analyse different search engines’ result pages to make sure that your new site’s URLs are appearing there. When you are satisfied with this limited transition, you can go ahead and move the entire site to the new location.
Do not redirect all your old URLs to the URL of your new domain’s homepage. It will lead to a series of 404 errors that can malign your site’s image with search engines. Page-by-page redirects are highly advisable here. Let each page on the old site get redirected to the corresponding page on the new site. This task will be time consuming, but, in the long run, it will be much more beneficial for your new domain’s search potential. This kind of redirect will provide search engine spiders and users with a consistent and clear path to the new site location.
Consistently check your internal links and fix broken ones, if any. Don’t leave any gaps for search engine spiders to shy away from your new website.
Add your new website to all your Webmaster Tools accounts. By doing so, you can easily create, validate and submit XML sitemaps listing your new URLs.
Above all, make sure you are also simultaneously following an online marketing strategy to promote the new domain. After all, it will help you get inbound links and rebuild your site’s link authority. Sending out online Press Releases, buying contextual ads, creating new social media accounts and actively networking through them, updating new domain in all official communication, etc. are just some of the activities you can undertake to get your new site going.

Many businesses go through all kinds of steps before hiring a search engine optimization professional. Unfortunately, they often then sabotage that person from the outset.
Get The Most Out Of Your SEO Professional
As a person providing seo services, I can tell you there is one area that is almost always a point of conflict with clients. This area has to do with communication, particularly from the client to the person or business handling the seo campaign.
Many businesses sabotage their seo professional right from the start of the game. It all has to do with knowledge. A seo professional is very knowledgeable about the search engine ranking process. He or she can tell you oodles of information about algorithms, back links, inbound links, keyword density and other issues you probably are not particularly interested in. On the other hand, it is a mistake to assume your seo wizard is knowledgeable about your product or service area.
Any business has a secret bit of crucial knowledge locked away in the minds of a few individuals high up in the company. This knowledge is protected with great effort since it is deemed to be the key to success for the business. Although each business is different, this nugget usually has to do with why prospects purchase the product or service being offered by the business. If you do not provide this information to your seo professional, problems will arise.
Consider the following situation. A seo firm is retained by a client selling products. The seo rep asks all kinds of questions about the typical customer for the business, product lines and so on. From this, a keyword list is developed and the client is asked to review it and make any comments about any additions they can think of. The business reports no changes. A year down the line, the client has top rankings on dozens of high traffic keywords on Google, Yahoo and MSN, but sales are less than expected.
At this point, there is usually a serious meeting with the players to try to figure out what is going on. During the meeting, some little tidbit is mentioned that makes the seo professional groan. The tidbit is inevitably internal business information regarding why prospects purchase from the business.
In our example above, the business sold products in the active lifestyle industry. Top rankings were obtained on all the relevant subjects. Sales were crap. During the serious, serious meeting, it was leaked that 8 out of 10 purchasers asked for the product to be gift wrapped! ARRRRRGGGG! The seo campaign was tailored to people interested in active lifestyles, not people that were looking to buy gifts for such people. Our sales were terrible because the listings were appearing in front of the wrong audience!
Yes, this really happened. Fortunately, keyword modifications were made and the site rebounded in the rankings after a few months. Whereas the site previously converted at 1 in 1,000, it now converts at 1 in 30. The next meeting was much more informal. In fact, there were plenty of beverages and I took the next day off.
If you are going to retain someone to handle your seo efforts, or any marketing for you, do not hold back information. Understanding who and why people buy is a pivotal part of developing a keyword list for a seo campaign.

Is article marketing just another ad fad? Why are online as well as offline business owners rushing to participate in this latest form of marketing and what distinguishes it from the other more conventional forms of marketing?
Article marketing is undoubtedly red hot right now! So what is it that makes it hot?
For one thing, when done well article marketing produces outstanding results; that too, at a fraction of the cost of other conventional means of advertising and marketing. It’s no wonder then that everybody who is connected with internet marketing would want to jump onto the article marketing bandwagon.
Innocuous as it may appear; article marketing has overshadowed the glitz and glamour of all other ostentatious forms of advertising and has turned the conventional world of marketing on its head. With article marketing there are no huge million-dollar marketing campaigns run by scores of staff. Article marketing involves just one person- you; and it costs nothing at all.
Article marketing creates the ideal advertising engine for internet businesses. This is what webmasters hope to achieve by using article marketing as a major part of their promotional endeavours:
* Article marketing through publication in ezines give marketers unprecedented exposure to millions of readers right across the world in just one shot.
* Article marketing through publication in ezines also assures click-through traffic to the marketer’s site as well as new sales from Click-though traffic.
* Article marketing through publication on non-ezine websites gives marketers valuable one-way, inbound links to their primary websites, which in turn increases the link popularity value of the search engines
* Article marketing through publication on non-ezine web sites attracts traffic from those websites where the article is posted and guarantees new sales from click-through traffic.
The reason why article marketing is so effective is that articles are content-rich and this content offers valuable information to their readers. This is unlike conventional advertising, where advertisements and promotional articles are only descriptive and not informative. Traditional advertisements offered no real value to anybody else expect the advertiser; whereas articles provide real value to the reader.
The new-age customer does not want a mere description of the product that is being marketed. Instead, he wants to know the inside story. He wants to know why he should buy the product and how it will help solve his problem.
The promotional significance of article marketing lies in the innate ability of valuable articles to generate target traffic to your website, thus increasing sales tremendously.
Effective articles do not directly promote their products. In fact most webmasters and publishers discourage the use of promotional materials within the body of any article that is posted on their site. All promotional materials are generally left in the ‘About the Author’ or the ‘Resource Box’. Including any kind of self- promotional materials in the body of your article will only ensure it’s exclusion from more than 50% of potential publishers.
How to write an article that sizzles
Here’s how to write a sizzling hot article that capitalizes on the article marketing boom:
* Grab your reader’s attention with the title itself – First impressions matter. Entice your reader with an attention-grabbing headline and lure him into reading more. If your title does not get the attention of the reader, you can be sure your article will languish, unread.
* Know your audience – Target audiences are different for different products. Potential customers for cool ringtones are radically different from customers who are looking for wrinkle cream. Determine your target audience and write an article from the perspective of this audience.
* Hook your audience- Now that you’ve got the attention of your target reader, your main aim should be to try and get him reading more. The first line of your article can either make or break your article marketing endeavor. Hook your reader with an amusing anecdote, an interesting byline or a thought to ponder over. Do not keep your best for last; you can be sure no one is going to wade through paragraphs of mundane drivel in the hope of finding something interesting.
* Highlight the benefits of your product- Very briefly but very prominently, outline the benefits of your product or service. Make your reader feel like it is something he cannot live without even though he has not realized it yet.
* Keep your article focused – When writing an article, stay focused on what you hope to accomplish with your article. Is your article meant to attract potential customers, to enhance your link popularity or is it meant to clarify a controversial issue?
* Personalize your article – Speak directly to the reader; person to person. Use a lot of ‘me’ and ‘you’ in your article instead of he, she and they. Reach out to your reader with warmth and empathy; make him feel like you are they to help him, not just sell to him.
* Keep your article politically correct – Avoid being prejudiced or opinionated about anything or anyone. You are trying to promote your product; not trying to run somebody down. Negative publicity will earn you just that- negative attention. It will not help you clinch a sale.
* Keep your sentences short and simple – Internet readers have short attention spans. Long-winded articles that go nowhere are bound to get them bored and restless. Articles that convey your message in short succinct sentences have a higher success rate than articles that use long-convoluted sentences.
