Create A Free Landing Page

Just as you would with any business of your own, when you move into Internet Marketing, you need to have tools at your disposal to make the most of it.

One of the most important tools you will need is the ability to create a landing page.  This is literally as its named.  Visitors will land on this page, read about your product and then (hopefully!!) click through to the sales page and buy.

There are many ways to make a landing page, but most of these involve spending money.  This is where you get your Catch 22 – you may not have any money available to spend, until you have sold some products and made some commission.  To do this you need to get visitors to your landing page…………  you get the picture !

Luckily though we have means at our disposal to create a free landing page.  Please note that this is not as good as having your own web page that you have designed yourself and paid for hosting.  With your own site – you make the rules – with the free sites you abide by their rules.  Don’t panic though – there is no one banging a stick, and as long as you stick to their terms and conditions and provide nice relevant material then you will sail along very nicely.

In my opinion, the best of these free sites is a Blogspot.com blog – also known as a blogger blog.  You get many options on how you can lay out your blog and you can also add picutres and videos to make it more interesting.  They have also just introduced a new Template Designer.  This gives you the option of making your page look really relevant to what you promoting.

Also, a blogger blog is very easy to use and you can literally get your page going within about 10 minutes.  Its worth, spending a little time though, looking about and seeing whats on offer.  If you don’t put some of the available gadgets on your first post, remember that they are there when you post again – variety keeps it interesting to the reader!!

Best of all, you can put in hyperlinks which will take the reader to the sales page for your product – very important!!  People love easy ways to do things and just clicking a link rather than typing in another URL will certainly make more people happier to click through.
