In the fast paced world of Information Technology the number of applications that computers can be applied to is ever increasing. Having once been confined to the realm of corporations, today computers are in each and every one of our homes. This has allowed just about anyone to go about developing their own IT related content and applications in addition to having IT software requirements.

To meet this demand, the number of software developers has been steadily increasing as has the quantity of software on the market. A huge range of software platforms and packages have flooded the market being targeted to a host of applications.

Such tailored software presents potential users with a speedy installation and setup in addition to extensive documentation explaining how to operate the software. Another benefit is the sheer number of users using certain mass market software such as MS Office and Photoshop which provides a massive base from which to seek help.

But still in reality there are various software out there on the market to choose from but the quality differs heavily and more economical options can be somewhat poor in terms of performance and features. But even when paying a hefty fee for reputed software the learning curve also comes in to play. Even worse sometimes the software cannot meet the needs of the buyer perfectly and the business practices have to be changed to meet the requirements of the software.

In such an environment customised software becomes the perfect solution. Especially when considering the boons of globalization that allow customers to reap the benefit of cheaper labour markets opening up in other parts of the world allowing for solutions being developed at lower costs.
