Twitter can be a useful and EASY way to keep in touch with your existing customers and to secure new contacts for your MLM business.

One: What can you “tweet” about?

Share updates about your network marketing business. Talk about new products, or new programs being offered. How about reviews of your products? Everyone likes to know how products and services are reviewed. Maybe your product has new packaging, a new use, a new scent, or new ingredients, which sets it apart.

Perhaps you have an event coming up. Tweet about it! In fact, tweet while you are there—activities, speakers, announcements, and fun things.

Special offers are especially suited to Twitter. A special offer with an expiration date of some kind—of course you want all your customers to know about it! And they will want to hear about it, too.

Remember to keep it short—Twitter allows only 140 characters per tweet. Abbreviate where you can, and keep the majority of your content on your website or blog. If you include a link to a website, Twitter will give it a code and shorten it for you, but don’t worry—it will still go where you want it to go.

Think of tweets as alerts, news flashes, something to intrigue people and get them to take action and go through to your website.

Sign up and start today. Most people check Twitter on their smart phones, but a lot (like me) simply check it on the computer. You can “tweet” on either your mobile device, or on your computer.

Three: Making new contacts daily
After you create your account, start tweeting and you will start attracting contacts, or “followers.” But there’s a way to fast track that process. Search the followers of other people in your business or interest group, and start “following” them. Then start following the people following your original group. As other people look at those same people, they will see that you are following them, and now they will want to follow YOU! It’s that simple. Now you have a huge pool of potential contacts.
