One fascinating platform that has always invited investors is no doubt the stock market. Many have become millionaires whilst many became bankrupt and exited from the scene. The stock market no doubt is a lucrative platform; the simpler it looks from outside, the more difficult to understand it is from within. Only those investors who venture after knowing the nuances of the trade do come out as winners in the race. Once you know what constitutes the stock market as well as how it works, making money becomes an easy task for you. Both employed and unemployed individuals have made fortunes from the stock market; you are just one step away! Come informed and notice the difference!!

The Indian stock market has two major stock exchanges – the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) and the NSE (National Stock Exchange), both located at Mumbai, the financial and commercial capital of India. The performance of the BSE and NSE are reflected in the sensex and nifty respectively.

To know about the day’s sensex news, search for sensex today news on web. You need not search for it if you visit a market news portal, especially a financial news portal. For example as per ‘sensex today’ news on the 7th of July, morning trades saw the climbing up of volatile markets with the sensex index reaching the 17,945 mark but slipping to 57 points to reach the 17,888 mark. The sensex today on that particular date also finds mention about a number of companies that have slipped such as Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance Communications and ITC (1% each), Bharti Airtel (2%), TCS and Wipro (1.7% each), and more. Amongst gainers were ONGC, DLF, Tata Motors, Larsen & Toubro, BHEL, SBI, to name a few. 1,392 have advanced while 951 have declined out of the 2,433 stocks traded on BSE. The next day’s market news or sensex figures will again be different, all depending on the conditions of the BSE market. Reading market news will certainly help you take the right trading decisions.
