Finally the military jumped on the boat and is now using twitter to recruit our youth.What a great way to get their message across and get there word out there.

Our youth live in a virtual world and twitter and face book are only a couple of the social networks out there that are used to promote whatever you want.

Just like you and I who publish articles online, now the military discovered our secret and is using it just like you and me.

Will this be one of the best ways they can recruit our youth, of course. It can be done from the internet, your phone or your PDA so there is access to this realm through many ways.

They seem to be targeting youth between the ages of 18 to 24. They are not only targeting this age group but when befriended they also have access to all on their friends list, so just like us their circle grows and grows.

Generals are tweeting from Iraq with whats going on in the sand box and on missions. Videos are beiing used on Face book to explain what the service ia all about and also to show live action of whats happening in the field.

Coast Guard members are using twitter to update their status when they are traveling to keep everyone in the loop of what their jobs consist of.

How incredibly powerful these tools have become. Ya we already knew the power of twitter and tweeting and how quickly something you want spread, spread. It took them awhile, the military that is but now they seem to be getting into the loop of the people who already knew what  power these social networks posess.
