In the world of internet marketing, the quality of the sales landing page is key to whether the offer flies or dies. Perhaps the worst position to be in is to have plenty of traffic going to the sales page, but little or no sales being made. In other words, the sales landing page looks good, but it isn’t converting.
In these circumstances, the typical internet marketers would normally make an attempt to improve the conversion rate of their sales page. They would do this, for example, by tweaking the text, changing the offer, adding more bonuses etc.
However, some new research may hold the answer to the page’s poor performance. It’s been found that the subconscious mind of the web page visitor forms an instant impression about the look and feel of that page. The impression may be good, or it may be bad.
You will already know about the power of the subconscious mind – the “Giant Within” Anthony Robbins calls it. If the subconscious mind has decided that a website page does not appeal, then no amount of logic will persuade that visitor to take the action the page owner seeks. In other words, no sale!
However, if you can construct a sale landing page that the subconscious mind finds attractive, then you are could be onto a winner. In this instance, if the subconscious mid approves of the web page, then the web page owner can look forward to the visitor taking the action wanted. In other words, a sale!
