The search engines find your website through links. These are external links pointing to your URL. The more inbound links you have, the better your rankings will be.

The main purpose of web directories is to provide a list of relevant links to the online visitors. Marketers are quick to realize the SEO value of such websites. In fact, it’s almost too good to be true.

Let’s say you resort to buying links to promote your new website. How much would you be paying for each link that you buy? Probably at least or more for each link. To get a hundred links, you probably have to pay 0 and above.
