Why should I bother with Twitter? How is this going to help my network marketing? You need to change your thinking about Twitter before it will help. You have to give before you get. If you want to look at the relationship of give to get its 10:1. That small percetage can be more than offset your time. You want to give your followers quality content. You have heard this before about social networking but that is whay its called networking, emphasis on working. You have to give people a reason to come back to you or even listen to you in the first place. What do you know that you can share that the world would like to know.Do not be afraid that someone will take your ideas and make them work and become a competitor. I looked at that way when I first started. Remember the Law of Abundance. As you know it takes a lot of dedication and effort to master the many facets of the Social Networking. Most people are like yourself- looking for answers to solve their marketing problems. Give often and without reservation.How can you be a good tweep? Contributing to your followers and those that you follow. Quotes, experiences and news items. The same laws apply: you need to grab their attention, show them something of interest, inspire a desire for your product and have a call to action. Get your followers attention. That is why you give so much. You have delievered so much good information that your followers look for things you tweet. The hardest factor in the formula is Interest. Your message does not go any further if you have not got your readers interest. That is a short message to catch their interest. Desire and action will be on the website that are connect to the link in the tweet. You cultivate the four aspects of AIDA but interest is in your tweets and the other three will be left to your creative. You can create interest by focusing on the What’s In It For Me. Your tweet should hint at this for your followers. Show them WIIFM and you will have their interest. How does it benefit the reader? You have spent the time to develop the relationship so now you just need their attention long enough to show them a benefit that will help them make money or be thinner, etc what ever your opportunity is.This is your action plan for Twitter. Start by spending 15 to 30 minutes a day on Twitter asking questions, retweeting good information or quotes and responding to DMs. Check out the followers of other tweeps who are providing good content. Add 100 of their followers everyday. Do this for a month and you will build your followers quickly. Unfollow those that do not follow you back after a couple of days. Tweet 4 to 8 tweets per day. You can tweet quotes or if you are blogging, a great cross-marketing idea, tweet your posts. These are good first steps to help you make money and build your downline on Twitter.
