Few promotional strategies offer up all of the benefits that article marketing does. You’ll be able to reach out to entirely new prospects, educate them on your niche and what you offer, and get them to visit your site. It will make converting existing prospects into sales easier by proving yourself as an expert in the field.

Your search engine rankings will improve with increased inbound links and a higher authority. Article marketing can really help your online business thrive.

Improve your article marketing with these 4 golden secrets:

1. Help your audience. If you want to earn the trust of your audience and encourage them to visit your site and buy your product or service, you have to help them in some way. Inform them about a topic of interest or solve a problem for them. Teach them something of value and keep them engaged. If you can do this, people will have a natural inclination to trust you, to seek out your products and to visit your sites. You’ll build trust and establish customer loyalty, while continuing to improve your standing as a renowned expert.

2. Search engine optimization. You must take the time to use some SEO skills in your writing. This starts before you write the article at all, with research that helps you uncover the keywords you should target. Keywords are always changing, as is their competitiveness, so always research before writing a new article. Once you have your keyword list, deploy them in your article several times to maximize results.

3. Target your audience. Don’t just write an article that you think would work for anybody. Write an article that would specifically work for your target group of customers. Do they want a technical explanation of something or a friendly piece of advice or encouragement? What problems do they have and how can you solve them? Getting in touch with your audience and using your articles to specifically appeal to them will add to your success.

4. Drive traffic and build a list. Not only do you want to see more traffic to your site, but you want that traffic to be converted into sales. That means you should strive to gather the contact information of every visitor to your site. Have your links lead directly to a signup-page, so you can capture that info while visitors are at their most interested. You’ll build a huge list of prospects that you can continue to build a relationship with and convert to customers.
