That’s the nature of viral marketing. Once you create a viral eBook to start a viral marketing campaign, include your affiliate links, links to your sales page or website and give it to a few people who in turn gives it to two or three other people, the viral effect begins.

As you will be including links back to your website, be sure to test every link to make sure it is working properly and check the spelling and grammar before you release your eBook to the public. Obvious grammatical and spelling errors will reflect badly on you and could be very damaging. One way to check for errors is to use the spell checker on your computer. You will still have to proofread you eBook because the spell checker doesn’t always catch everything.
Another way to market your eBook is to use eBook directories. Some eBook directories are free. If allowed, post your eBook to those eBook directories. Marketing your eBook this way will create a viral marketing effect for your eBook for years

A Landing Page, better known as a Micro Site, is a page created essentially for a Pay Per Click campaign. It is this page that a web page visitor reaches on clicking a PPC or a CPC advertisement listed on web search results. A Landing Page is specifically designed for marketing a particular product or service. Alternatively a SEO expert uses a landing page for the purpose of evaluating an advertisement’s effectiveness as also the efficiency of the keywords and keyword phrases incorporated in the search results.
A Landing Page is often further categorised into a “reference landing page” and a “transactional landing page”. A reference landing page exhibits all information relevant to a web page visitor in the form of text, images and other web resources. A Landing page’s effectiveness is judged by the revenue value earned by the advertisement. Meanwhile a Transactional landing page is designed with the aim of immediate sale of product and services. A web page visitor performing a desired action is termed as “conversion”. A Landing page’s effectiveness and quality is thus measured in terms of its conversion rate.
A well-thought out and properly crafted landing page can do wonders for a web site. Identify all frequently searched keywords related to your domain and then draw up your content as well as URL using those keywords. Make sure your Landing page has crisp, to the point and accurate information of the product or service you are marketing, a proper call to action and a user friendly design. Also make sure you make changes in the landing pages from time-to-time and keep a track of the effects of it on the campaign.
A Landing page’s utility in generating effective positive results and business makes it an integral aspect of a PPC campaign. It is important to spend some quality time on creating a landing page to be able to derive the desired results.

Every webmaster is having his own style of building links. But my link building campaign is completely different and search engine friendly. I have worked on many keywords and have successfully bought those keywords in Google first page listing. From my past experience i can say that my link building campaign works like charm.
How my link building campaign works for a website or blog?
Honestly, your should not have to build links fatly, especially when your domain is new. Building links should be done very carefully and it should look very natural to search engines.
My link building campaign:
1) Social bookmarking – 1st step
2) Directory submission – 2nd step
3) Article marketing -3rd step
4) Blog commenting – 4th step
5) Contextual links from theme related pages – 5th step
6) Theme related Blog roll links – Last step
Social bookmarking: Every link building campaign starts with manual social bookmarking.You have to submit unique content to every social media site and the keywords should be 100% related to your website or else Google will consider as a keyword spam. Social bookmarking is the terrific method to gain social media traffic for any website.
Directory submission: Try to submit your site to top 300 niche related directories manually with correct keywords and description. Now a day’s many directories are requesting a reciprocal link. They are not accepting our site unless if we don’t add their site in any our sites. For such directories you need to create a dedicated page where you can place all the directories who are requesting reciprocal link. Our website will be listed very fast if we give a reciprocal link to the requested directories.
Article marketing: Many webmasters says content is king. And it can bring organic traffic from search engines. As per my knowledge I can say article marketing is one of the best off page optimization to gain high quality links from article directories. Write an article and spin it to 10 more unique articles manually. Try to submit each article manually to each article directory. Through my link building campaign i give much stress to article marketing why because it deals with content and quality contextual link building.
Blog commenting: One of the most powerful link building method which can increase your site popularity, visibility and higher search engine ranking position results for the targeted keywords. But please don’t spam websites and forums with improper comments and many anchors.
Contextual links: Contextual links looks very natural to major search engines. I always recommend content based theme related links. Search theme related websites and request a blogpost from the website owners. These links will definitely help you in higher serps.
Blog roll links: As per my knowledge i always recommend theme based home page links. Blog roll links helps you in getting site wide links. If a website is having 1000 indexed inner pages then you will get 1000 backlinks as per my knowledge. Try to contact webmasters for blog roll links whose websites are 100% Related to your site. If he or she agrees then pay some incentives for site wide blog roll links.
These are the 6 important link building methods in my link building campaign. These methods are strong enough to rank in higher search engine rankings. There are many more link building methods like forum posting, sponsored links, press release and submission and many more methods. But those methods are not so strong enough to rank.

A Quick Guide to Winning Landing Pages for Your Adwords Campaign

In creating a Google AdWords campaign, advertisers often spend most of their time creating their ads and researching their keywords. There is often little or no thought to where the surfer will be sent when the ad does its job and generates a click. Often advertisers send the surfer to the home page of their website, hoping the website will do the rest of the work. These advertisers are neglecting a very important part of their AdWords campaign: the landing page. A good landing page is just as important as a good ad, good keywords and strategic bidding. By creating an effective landing page advertisers can increase conversions, which will make their campaigns more competitive and profitable.
When creating your landing page remember to make it specific to the ad that is sending the traffic. As with everything else, the landing page must be highly targeted. If a surfer clicked an ad expecting to find gold plated doorknobs, then you better make sure the corresponding landing page has just that. There is nothing worse than having a customer who is ready to buy but can’t.
The role of your ad is to get clicks. The role of your landing page is to convert those clicks into leads or sales. Make sure you can convert the surfer within 3 clicks or less. If the surfer has to click more than 3 times to buy your product you will probably lose the sale. Ideally you want the surfer to click only twice, once on your ad, and once on your landing page to get to your order page. That’s it. The more clicks you have, the less sales you make.
Remember that surfers are impatient. You need to give them what they want with as little effort as possible on their part. Therefore, it is important to always keep your original objective (conversions) in mind, as well as to refer to the specific keywords and calls to action in your ad, when creating your landing page.
The landing page is where you will use all your copywriting skills to complete the sale. As I said before, the goal of your ad is to get the click, and the goal of your landing page is to get the sale. It is in your landing page where you have all the room you need to explain all the benefits and features of your product or service. It is important to remember that your landing page is your sales page.
Your ad did its job by generating enough interest in the surfer to click through to your landing page. Now you should continue to hook and draw the prospect into your copy to complete the sale. The best way to do this is through a good headline. This headline should hook the prospect by appealing to her self-interest. What’s in it for her? How will your product or service benefit her?
Continue to expand on your headline in your copy with more benefits for the prospect, and support these benefits with the features of your product or service. Do this throughout your copy and with subheadings. Make sure you keep the prospect interested and try to build some excitement in your product or service.
Use plenty of bullets and lists in your copy to show your benefits and features. Bullets are essentially mini headlines. Bullets can be used to summarize all benefits the prospect will gain from your product or service. They can also summarize all the problems your prospect is experiencing and that your product or service can solve.
Headlines, subheadings and bullets are very important aspects of your landing page. As I said above, surfers are impatient and impulsive. They tend to be in a hurry and want instant gratification. As a result, they often only scan the page. If a surfer is scanning your page, they will only read your headline, subheadings, and bullets. It is important that you get all the benefits to the prospect included in your headlines, subheadings, and bullets, for this reason. Of course there are also surfers who will read your whole page, so you will need to have good copy, which provides greater detail and all the information the prospect needs to make a decision.
Pictures are usually very effective, especially if you are selling a product. In this case make sure the surfer gets a good, clear look at the product. Since the surfer cannot touch the product it is important that they get as much visual information as they need. Your copy should support your pictures and your pictures should support your copy. The important thing is that the landing page is focused on what the prospect wants. So if the prospect is looking for gold plated doorknobs, then when they click your ad they should go to a landing page where they only see pictures of gold plated doorknobs, and only read text that describes the features and benefits of gold plated doorknobs.
Finally, at some point you will need to ask for the sale. This all needs to be done on your landing page. Do not ask the surfer to click through to another page and try to close the sale there. You must close the sale on your landing page. The surfer should only have to click through to your order page to provide their credit card information. If you are only looking to generate leads, have the form they need to fill out on the landing page as well.
The landing page is a very important aspect of a Google AdWords campaign. You should spend the same amount of time, if not more, creating your landing page as you do creating your ad and generating your keywords. By creating effective landing pages you can improve the overall profitability of your campaigns. Improving the profitability of your campaign can allow you to bid more per keyword and generate more traffic. In end, the landing page is an integral part of your search engine marketing and should not be neglected.

Is a Linking Campaign the Only Trend?

An appropriate linking strategy can improve the page rank for Google and the other search engines. But how can a search engine optimizer’s inbound links be spidered and indexed by Google and the other search engines?

The important part in a successful linking strategy is that pages linked to highly ranked sites are a higher value than those with fewer links. Links from serious and higher ranked sites are increasing the value of their destination, improving its position, giving a higher placement in the results list.
Similar results can be obtained using any of the search engines with the same keywords or phrases. To improve the search engine position, the most often recommended solution is to make a linking campaign.
An inbound links method is a proven solution in the high ranking attempt of almost every search engine optimizer. Some inbound links may come from the sites that had added interesting articles about the main site’s topics. If the keywords are used with a moderate frequency, keeping the article’s content pleasant, attractive, and interesting; this kind of linking strategy can bring spectacular results.
But what about the reciprocal links? Are they really useful for this strategy? If a long list of reciprocal links exists, does the website have spectacular improved position on the results pages? After a few important experiments, it looks like the result is not as spectacular as the premises are.
Only a small part of the reciprocal links is considered valid by Google and the other search engines. The part applied to the page rank is not as important as the number of reciprocal links is, so this technique must be applied with measure and prudence.
Those thoughts are the results of my personal experience in a site’s ranking. I used all the SEO possibilities I knew, but using inbound links was the most powerful tool to improve my web site ranking.
Every link added is ranking the site higher than linking every page individually. If the link also contains valuable keywords for the website content, the results are more promising. A linking strategy well done for each site containing single articles listed on small sites is bringing good results.

The page rank can also be improved by designing a sitemap. It is wise to have a page that links to all others to get every page spidered and indexed. It is not difficult to create a map page and link it from the site’s home page. The results will be appreciable.
To begin linking your sites with other sites, you can start by joining a linking directory. This will help increase your page rank, but you must make sure people are linking back to you. How many websites should your company have?
That’s a question that comes up often in discussions with clients, but perhaps the idea never crossed your mind. Why would any company need more than one website? Not to be glib but the answer is as many as you need, but how many is that?
If you’re a large corporation it is fairly obvious that you need a separate site for each brand you offer, and a separate site for corporate background material and perhaps investor information.
But what if you’re a small or medium-sized company with a limited number of products or services? Then the question becomes, do your products relate to one another? Does one item flow into the next? Is your audience for each product or service the same? And what about totally different audiences for the same product: audiences that need to be approached with totally different tactics? And then there are special circumstances like new product launches, time sensitive marketing campaigns, and limited availability offers?
Mini Campaign Websites and Alternative Marketing Websites are an effective method of enhancing your marketing efforts and targeting optional audiences you would never have otherwise reached using your traditional sales marketing approach.
7 Tactical Reasons To Use Campaign Websites
1. Focus Your Presentation: eliminate distraction and non relevant clutter
It is human nature to want to get your money’s worth, but when it comes to website marketing this can be counter-productive. Wanting to cram everything you offer into one website aimed, or more to the point not aimed, at every interested audience only creates clutter and confusion. Forcing visitors to sift through reams of material only creates frustration and irritation, and with a click of a mouse they’re off to the next competitor listed on their favorite search engine before they even get to your relevant information.
A campaign or brand specific website allows you to get right to the point. Greet your targeted audience with a signature video Web-host supported by appropriate images and text. If a lot of text material is required then have it turned it into an audio presentation so the material is made more accessible, understandable, and easy to absorb.
A focused brand or campaign site shortens the sales cycle by making what you offer clear and distinct; it provides visitors with the sense that you are both competent and innovative in what you do and how you do it.
2. Use Alternative Tactics: experiment with non traditional campaign and sales’ approaches
Most companies follow a consistent sales approach that they have found successful. This is both a good thing and a bad thing: following a plan that has worked in the past aimed at your traditional customer base makes sense, except that it also limits you in reaching new audiences for your products and services.
There may be markets for what you offer that you have never thought of, or that you are afraid to approach because they conflict with your current methods, promotions, or initiatives.

With a series of highly targeted websites you speak to the needs of specific audiences and at the same time insulate your regular clients from the alternative approaches.
In a highly competitive marketplace, your competition will be looking for every opportunity to take advantage of markets you ignore. Don’t let them. You can get to them first and establish your company as the niche leader. All it takes is a little imagination, effort, and a budget to implement. This way you can have your cake and eat it too.
3.Create Urgency & Impact: campaign sites urge quick response, while creating a memorable impression
Website visitors are always complaining how much time it takes them to search for and find the products and services they need. This often translates into complaints about download times, but the fact is, with the extensive availability of broadband, it’s not download times that frustrate people, it’s having to search through multiple pages and levels, in a hide-and-seek game to find what they want.
A campaign or brand-specific alternative marketing site gets right to the point and delivers the information or the promotion referenced in your email, banner, and print ads, or television and radio commercials.
And if you use a signature video Web-host to deliver the information, you are making sure the presentation has impact; so even if a visitor doesn’t view everything, they at least get the core message in a way they won’t forget.

If you’ve had experience running a sales staff or rep network, you know that salespeople who call on one specific market are rarely successful when asked to simultaneously call on another. Customize and isolate your approach to different markets, so you can speak directly to that market’s needs and attitudes.
The marketplace is often more innovative than the marketer in finding new ways to use old products; ways the manufacturer never realized existed. Ask your customers how they use your products and then go after that market with a direct campaign that takes advantage of that specific niche.
5. Isolate & Differentiate Brands: target specific audiences with specific tactics
Companies that offer a large number of products or services often confuse potential customers by presenting far too many options and alternatives. The result is the Web-visitor doesn’t buy anything because they don’t want to purchase the wrong thing, or not get the best deal. Even if you get the sale, you may lose the customer because they made the wrong decision.
You want to offer prospects a limited number of distinct alternatives, just enough so they feel they have been given a choice, and don’t have to look elsewhere. But too much choice within the same product category creates buyer indecision. If a product or service is aimed at a particular market because it has specific features, create a separate website to sell it. Isolating a product line on a separate website allows you to create a distinct image and brand story for that offering.
6. Accelerate Comprehension & Shorten Sales Cycle: be clear, be understood, be direct, and sales will follow
Campaign websites get right to the point. They present the marketing message quickly, and promptly direct people to take action without making them wade through mission statements and corporate histories that for campaign purposes just get in the way.
The longer it takes for someone to understand what the campaign is all about, the less likely they are to stick around long enough to make sense out of it. This is why we strongly recommend adding video and audio to the presentation. Video and audio allows you to say what needs to be said in the most understandable, persuasive, and memorable manner.
When it comes to website visitors you probably only have one shot at making a lasting impression, so don’t blow it by delivering a boring or confusing presentation.

Campaign websites can function as landing sites and contact venues for print, television, radio, online video, banner, and display ads, as well as for articles, newsletters, and news releases.
By segregating your campaign site you can more easily track responses better than if the campaign material was integrated into your corporate site. Separating your campaign website from your main site allows you to experiment with marketing tactics aimed at new or alternative audiences, with approaches that may not be suitable for your regular site visitors. You may not even want your regular customers to know that it is your company that’s running the campaign, so people will regard it as something completely new.

You’ve heard about the “Long Tail” and ‘niche markets’ but what have you done about it? So many companies sell the same product, the same way, to the same audience, that people no longer pay much attention. Look no further than the search engine optimization market, when was the last time you actually read something truly different, truly innovative about SEO? What makes one company’s promise of top ten ranking any different from the next? And if everyone who paid for optimization was in the top ten in their category, you’d have to redefine what the number ten means.
Today companies, especially small and medium sized companies, have to be different to be heard. They have to be bold and innovative and constantly try new approaches to reach their audiences.
By trying different tactics using different websites delivering alternative presentations, to alternative audiences you expand and build your business without the concern that these bold new approaches will negatively affect your more conservative existing clientele.

Your link building campaign should be guided by the trio: highly targeted, high quality links – placed in the right spot on the page – with the right anchor text.
Most certainly, along the way you’ll be tempted to make use of some practices that promise to deliver quick results but that also tend to raise some red flags with Google’s quality standards.
Although beneficial on the short run, these gray and black hated backlink acquisitions will harm your SEO campaign and delay sustainable traffic from showing up in your charts.
List of “don’t do”s to take into consideration:
1. Don’t outsource your link building project unless you verify those you outsource to and they are qualified and aligned with your methods.
2. Don’t search for “keyword phrase” and “submit site” in Google. The vast majority of results are garbage sites.
3. Don’t just get links to your home page, get deep links to any page you want to rank well in Google; the ration should be 30~40% of links going to home page and 60~70% being deep links.
4. Don’t use link building software or send mass emails for links.
5. Don’t hire services which “guarantee” links or allow links added through automation. These kind of services are most likely intricate link farm consisting of a network of separate, highly interlinked websites for the purposes of inflating link popularity.
6. Don’t automate link submission on your webpages; manually approve all link requests.
7. Don’t approve a link request until you ensure that the site has not “faked” its PageRank. Also, verify the page has a current cache date in Google.
8. Don’t burst the link volume on short periods of time. You want to make sure the number of links matches the amount of traffic you’re receiving. Until your site is getting 500 unique visitors per day, I would stick to 5-10 acquired links per day max. In other words, avoid disparities between the number of backlinks to your website and the amount of traffic you’re receiving.
9. Don’t make backlinking decisions based on PageRank. Instead, build backlinks to provide complete solutions to your prospect’s needs.
10. Don’t go after generic keywords which are on the wrong end of the buying cycle. These depict a wide market without addressing specifics which the searcher has in mind (e.g. “buy car”).
11. Don’t search link partners among websites that are competing for the first 100 keywords in your niche market; the chances of getting a link from them are very slim because they are your direct competitors; descent to the next 300-500 keywords, instead.
12. Don’t link to the home page of the directory you’ve submitted to; instead, link to the page where your listing appears.
13. Don’t create so-called a “links page” where you build a page and stuff a bunch of links to “recommended resources”, “links” or “get more information”.
14. Avoid three-way linking schemes. Search engines are getting better at detecting and discounting these links. Google in particular has aggressively begun to target and discount three way links.
