Building the best does not depend on one factor. Every “best” owes its status to various things. In fact, one might say that the term “best” is always relative. Thus, you cannot find a best online marketing strategy in general. The best internet marketing strategies are always bound by specificity. They are deemed best by the various factors that encompass them. They will be able to bring you success if you use them in the right conditions. Strategy is like that: in order for it to work, you need to take the right factors into account.
So what should you consider in putting the best internet marketing strategy together?
1) Purpose – What is your website’s purpose? In order to find the best internet marketing strategy, you need to have a clear grasp of your goals. Your purpose is what shapes the strategy. The best internet marketing strategy should be aimed like an arrow to the heart of your goal. Your strategy is, of course, designed to help you achieve that purpose. The goal gives the best internet marketing strategy its meaning.
Is your website aimed at providing information? If so, then the best internet marketing strategy would require you to publish a lot of articles providing information on your website. This strategy, however, is not the best if your website’s purpose is to sell. Sometimes, articles can distract customers. The best internet marketing strategy accomplishes what the purpose of the person is.
2) Market behavior – You should know that an internet marketing strategy is an attempt to anticipate, if not to control the behavior of people. The best internet marketing strategy should take into account the fact that people behave erratically. It is often the case that people, themselves, have no idea what they want. The best internet marketing strategy should anticipate the various changes in the behavior of the market and try to react to these. As we all know, people change their minds frequently and this behavior can seriously affect your business. You should try to pay attention to what people look for in the internet. This would give you a pretty good idea about what to put in your site.
3) Environmental conditions – No, this does not refer to the weather. Environmental conditions, in this sense, refer to the various things going on in the marketplace. The best internet marketing strategy takes into account the various events that happen and could happen in the market. This could include the weather, various natural disasters, political conditions and others. The best internet marketing strategy will take advantage of every opportunity and will find ways to neutralize every threat.
4) Flexibility – Of course, not all things work according to plan. The best internet marketing strategy must give allowance for the possibility that the strategy could fail to anticipate everything. This means that the best internet marketing strategy should be flexible enough to allow for certain unaccountable things. Some factors, such as force majeur, are simply beyond the capacity of human understanding. Thus, the best internet marketing strategy should also acknowledge limitations.
The best internet marketing strategy always depends on you. Your purpose, your thoughts, and your feelings give the best internet marketing strategy its status. Because of this, you should really try to consider factoring your imperfect humanity in it.

Know that we have discussed the on page factors in lesson one. It is time to move on to the off page factors. The off page factors are just as important as on page, actually a little bit more important. The off page factor comes down to how many in bound links you have. In bound links are the number of websites that have direct links to your site. The off page factors are like a popularity contest. The more relevant inbound likes you have going to your site, the more popular you your web site is. one way inbound link are way more effective than reciprocal links. Reciprocal links worked pretty good in the past. But more intelligent search engine like Google tend to cancel these links out or tend to not weigh them as heavy as one way links.

I will first start with the basics on SEO or (search engine optimization) is a strategy to get your web site ranked high in the major search engines for a specific keyword in a natural or organic manor. Optimizing a website primarily involves on-page factors,off- page factors, and the domain name.
Domain structure – Keep your domain as short as possible. Use your main targeted keyword if possible. If you can’t find one try adding a hyphen or find a word that is relevant to the keyword.
On page factors are basically the content on your site and the meta tags. You need to have good keyword rich and good quality content that is relevant to your site.Your keywords need to be place in the title, description, the top right corner, bottom right, and spread evenly through out the page. Generally you should try to have about ten percent of your text the keyword you are targeting. Plus add variance keyword (varying the usage of the targeted keyword) Also use bold and underlined text on some of the keywords. And only shoot for a couple keywords per page. It is very difficult to optimize for a ton of keyword on one page.
Your Meta tags tell the search engine your site’s title, description and keywords. Without these tags, it’s difficult for your site to achieve a high ranking on many major search engines. Meta tags provided a guide to each page’s content. You also need to have your targeted keywords in the tags. Make sure you do not try stuffing the keyword in your tags or on you pages because intelligent search engines like Google can pick up on that and your site can be put in the sandbox. Which basically means your site will be put on probation and be deindexed. Plus you need to make your content look natural to your potential customers. There is a saying that many SEO writers and web designers use. write and create websites for human first and search engines second. Organic SEO is simply using a strong dose of good common sense. Once you feel that your page is fully optimize use a validator like validator.w3.org to check your page for errors. If your page has a couple small errors I would not worry about it. But if you see any warnings or a lot of errors I would try fixing the page before moving on to the off page factors.
The off page factors involve the number of inbound links or backward likes that you have going to your site. Which means the number of link your site has on other web sites. It is pretty much a popularity contest. the more relevant inbound links you have the better you rank. There a many ways to get inbound links like submitting to directories, writing articles, buying links (etc). I will go over the off page factor in more detail in the following lessons.

Making a living improving search engine rankings and handling website promotion makes you realize a thing or two about the business, There is alot of bad information on the web about SEO. What if I could tell you the steps for reaching top rankings is within your grasp? There are websites out there achieving top ranking in a short amount of time constantly. As with any major success, it leaves clues.
Working with website promotion for countless small to medium sized websites, I have found that the sites that rank well on the major search engines have a number of things in common. What they are? I’ll share these factors with you and explain what sets these sites apart from the ones that you never find on page one of the Google search results.
The first factor deals with the anchor text(the text on the clickable link) of incoming links to your websites. The major search engines use these anchor texts to determine what your website is all about and for which keywords you should rank high. A easy step you can take to make sure your “off page” SEO is up to par is to check for sites linking to you using your URL as the anchor text. Politely email and ask them to change the anchor text to one of the keywords you are trying to rank well for. You should always strive towards creating links with your most important keywords as the anchor text.
The next factor you need to think about is your title text and other meta tags focusing on description. Even though meta tags have minimal impact on your ranking in the search engines it still helps them categorize your page and help identify what your website is about. Google have even confirmed that the meta keywords tag is not used whatsoever when deciding how a website should rank. Description on the other hand is more important and is also a great way to make a first impression when your customers read about your website in the search engines. Title should be looked at the same way and both should include important keywords.
A third factor that search engines put focus on is something generally referred to as Page Rank. Page Rank is generally calculated based on the number of incoming links and the quality of those links. Quality being the linking sites own Page Rank and how relevant the content on that website is to your own content. This is probably the largest factor that influences your ranking potential and the most difficult one to improve.
Fourth we have the diversity of domains that link to your website. May seem obvious to most but its not just the number of links that is important but the more separate domains they are coming from the better. Having many diverse domains linking to you indicates that your website is popular with alot of different site owners and users. So to sum this up, try to create inbound links from diverse domains as much as possible.
The last factor is also pertaining to the domain a inbound link comes from. The most valuable inbound link from a domain is the ones that come from the root domain (example: www.domain.com). although all pages will give your website a boost in the ranking nothing beats top level links.
All of these factors needs to be considering if you wish to rank well in the search engines. Don’t skip over any of them and make sure you optimize for a set list of keywords no longer then a couple words. Also make sure you continually read about the subject to learn more about on and off page SEO. For example you’re probably wondering which keywords you should be focusing on for your website now which is good but we’ll save that for the next article. The more you know the bigger of an impact you’ll have with your optimization efforts.

Even though subdomains give you abit of action you will see alot better results with keyword usage on the root domain level ( www.examplekeywords.com ). But like I claimed examplekeywords.domain.com will also provide limited results. There are ways to outrank sites that have good word density in their domain names but you’ll need alot of expertise, SEO know how and patience.
