Search Engine Optimization or (SEO) doesn’t rank entire pages but elements of them. Each page is a team working together to produce an overall effect. While each page can produce high rankings and spread to each other is one of the best strategies another is to use a landing page strategy. In this case you can use various techniques to bring traffic to one particular page, usually the home page, and from there direct that pages high ranking to your website’s other pages. When a page points to another page is does not diminish its page ranking. It may not be able to give as high a boost if it points to too many pages but this can be compensated for by a good navigation structure.

PPC advertising: Creating Landing Pages For Google Adwords

In creating a Google AdWords campaign, advertisers often spend most of their time creating their ads and researching their keywords. There is often little or no thought to where the surfer will be sent when the ad does its job and generates a click. Often advertisers send the surfer to the home page of their website, hoping the website will do the rest of the work.

These advertisers are neglecting a very important part of their AdWords campaign: the landing page. A good landing page is just as important as a good ad, good keywords and strategic bidding. By creating an effective landing page advertisers can increase conversions, which will make their campaigns more competitive and profitable.
When creating your landing page remember to make it specific to the ad that is sending the traffic. As with everything else, the landing page must be highly targeted. If a surfer clicked an ad expecting to find gold plated doorknobs, then you better make sure the corresponding landing page has just that. There is nothing worse than having a customer who is ready to buy but can’t.
The role of your ad is to get clicks. The role of your landing page is to convert those clicks into leads or sales. Make sure you can convert the surfer within 3 clicks or less. If the surfer has to click more than 3 times to buy your product you will probably lose the sale. Ideally you want the surfer to click only twice, once on your ad, and once on your landing page to get to your order page. That’s it. The more clicks you have, the less sales you make.
Remember that surfers are impatient. You need to give them what they want with as little effort as possible on their part. Therefore, it is important to always keep your original objective (conversions) in mind, as well as to refer to the specific keywords and calls to action in your ad, when creating your landing page.

The landing page is where you will use all your copywriting skills to complete the sale. As I said before, the goal of your ad is to get the click, and the goal of your landing page is to get the sale. It is in your landing page where you have all the room you need to explain all the benefits and features of your product or service. It is important to remember that your landing page is your sales page.

Both of these techniques have been used successfully to generate internet business opportunities and to convert visitors into cash. These techniques create an urgency for the visitor and encourages them to buy at this point in case they miss the offer. Through research and testing you will be able to identify these time frames and what best works for your web visitors and your internet business.
Payment options, the landing page should offer multiple ways in which to purchase your product. Many marketers only offer one way, but times are changing and visitors have their preferred way of buying online so offering what the web visitors need is your responsibility as an online marketer and to make your online business opportunity work. You must offer the web visitor multiple options like credit/debit card payments, bank transfer and Paypal.
Testing, you may have set up an internet business, and landing page, and it may be doing ok, there is always room for improvement and this is through testing your landing page. Testing an tweaking your landing pages is the only way in which the internet business opportunities will grow and tell you what your web visitors are doing. It will teach you trends in the market, whether it be location, age demographic or seasonal.
Producing a great landing page is essential to your internet business and online marketing. Set up a basic page and test it until you get the visitors converting, it can take time, so don’t give up because there is a huge amount of money to be made online.

There are plenty of strategies available to help you send quality visitors to your site and, eventually, they can also help you find the kind of customers you need. In this article we will be looking at a few tips that will help you create great landing pages.
A very important part of building a landing page is making sure that your landing page is “lightweight.” In other words, if your landing page isn’t loading quickly, then you need to roll up your sleeves and work on it. For visitors with a normal internet connection, your page should load in a maximum of five seconds. Make changes if you notice that the page takes longer than that to load. Your page’s loading speed will depend upon several things like large graphics, pictures, “heavy” code, etc. After analyzing your site to figure out what is slowing down your page’s loading time, make the necessary changes to speed things up. If, for example, you see that it is your graphics that are slowing down your page’s loading time, save those graphics as smaller files or simply remove them altogether. The main goal you have should be to build a page that is perfect to each person who sees it. Pages that are easy and light often have bigger conversion rates than heavy or overly produced pages. The fewer distracting elements you have on your page, the easier it will be for visitors to your site to focus on what you are selling to them and they will be more likely to buy from you. You want to use copy on your landing page that holds your visitor by the hand and then leads them, without distractions, directly to the buy button or sign-up form. Your font size shouldn’t be too small and always use dark colored text on a write background for the best readability. NEVER USE ALL CAPS because people don’t like it and make sure that your text isn’t too little. Without a comprehensible message for visitors to read and follow then your page won’t convert. Making sure that your text is readable is a simple task so there are no excuses for skipping this element of landing page design. To find the combination that your visitors like the most you will have to test different variations of your landing pages and see which one they like the most.
You should also be providing people with a powerful, unconditional guarantee. You will find this to be the easiest way to increase the rate of conversions because you reduce the risk for your buyer. Your goal should be to create a believable and impressive guarantee. When you have a 100% money back guarantee, you should try to go for a longer guarantee, as they work better. This helps you in two ways, namely that most people forget to ask for a refund before the cutoff date and by showing you believe in your product.

It can take some time to reach your optimum conversion rate because getting there involves quite a lot of trial and error. You will eventually see that all of the work you’ve done is worth it.

Mistakes in PPC Landing Pages to be Avoided for Better Conversion

Landing page is typically used to describe the page where visitors are brought on clicking an Internet advertisement. This page has to be well thought out and executed to achieve the marketing goals. The key objective of landing page is to produce a conversion whether it is a sale, a sign up, or just a lead. In other words, a landing page is also a sales page, where the call for action occurs. When the landing page is not designed well the conversion rate is reduced significantly.
Common Mistakes of Landing Pages to be avoided
The following are some of the common mistakes of PPC landing pages that should be avoided.
• Your page may be too clustered – It distracts the visitors in their search and can even divert your conversion. If the content, images or the popups of your landing page are clustered, there will be a negative affect on the conversion rate.
• Multiple calls to action – There shouldn’t be more than one or two calls to action, else it creates confusion in the minds of the visitors.
• Irrelevant text or description – Keep the content short, simple and on the topic. Any additional unrelated text on your landing page can dilute the message. Generate an effective call to execute on the landing page. Conversion should be made simple and easy, as there is little time with the visitor for the conversion.
• Incorrect information damages credibility – If the facts on the landing page are incorrect, there is a possibility of loosing credibility with your customers. Ensure the information provided on the landing page is correct.
• Don’t annoy the visitors – You shouldn’t irritate the visitors with the popups or banners that typically irritate the customers. Agitated customers don’t convert well. Acquire their attention by providing solutions for their needs that the page can serve them.
The above information explains some of the mistakes on landing pages. Ensure that you have thought through these points in order to reach your conversion goal targets.

Generally landing page is that page of website where visitors reach or land directly by the route of search engines or incoming links. A landing page is considered as gateway to the website. It is only by chance that visitors land into those pages due to the optimization effort done by the website promoter and they call it as landing page. But some webmasters still have the wrong assumption that home page or index page is the landing page of the website. Some consider the product page to be the landing page in case of dynamic websites.
Those who use PPC campaign to promote their product generally try to create an effective landing page in order to maximize the sale. A landing page must be effective so that it could impress and convince the visitors when they land there for a few seconds. It is important to optimize each and every page for the visitors but a few pages that can convert into landing pages requires some extra efforts and care.
There should be an effort to create an effective landing page for specific keywords for a general website in SEO Services. It must be found out which pages of your website are frequently visited or landed and for which keywords. It must be remembered that you are required to target the specific page for that keyword.

Landing Pages The Backbone of PPC Campaign

A Landing Page, better known as a Micro Site, is a page created essentially for a Pay Per Click campaign. It is this page that a web page visitor reaches on clicking a PPC or a CPC advertisement listed on web search results. A Landing Page is specifically designed for marketing a particular product or service. Alternatively a SEO expert uses a landing page for the purpose of evaluating an advertisement’s effectiveness as also the efficiency of the keywords and keyword phrases incorporated in the search results.
A Landing Page is often further categorised into a “reference landing page” and a “transactional landing page”. A reference landing page exhibits all information relevant to a web page visitor in the form of text, images and other web resources. A Landing page’s effectiveness is judged by the revenue value earned by the advertisement. Meanwhile a Transactional landing page is designed with the aim of immediate sale of product and services. A web page visitor performing a desired action is termed as “conversion”. A Landing page’s effectiveness and quality is thus measured in terms of its conversion rate.
A well-thought out and properly crafted landing page can do wonders for a web site. Identify all frequently searched keywords related to your domain and then draw up your content as well as URL using those keywords. Make sure your Landing page has crisp, to the point and accurate information of the product or service you are marketing, a proper call to action and a user friendly design. Also make sure you make changes in the landing pages from time-to-time and keep a track of the effects of it on the campaign.
A Landing page’s utility in generating effective positive results and business makes it an integral aspect of a PPC campaign. It is important to spend some quality time on creating a landing page to be able to derive the desired results.

Landing pages are just web pages where visitors are directed to whenever they click a result in a web search or whenever they click a web ad. For affiliate marketing, landing pages would refer to the web page where you, as a merchant, would want your potential customer to be directed after clicking your ad on your affiliate’s website. Landing pages are, nothing really different from other web pages in a particular website, especially if the website is an e-commerce site
If you want to get something more from your online business, and if you want to bring in a lot of profits, you better create a special landing page for your web ads.
There are a variety of affiliate marketing programs today, but most of these programs let the merchant pay the affiliate in a pay per click basis. Basically, all you have to do is sign up with the program and submit your ad. The program owner would then distribute your ad to various affiliates who would then place your ad on their websites. Whenever your ad is clicked, a visitor would be directed to your landing page and you would have to pay the affiliate for his service.
As a seller, you earn in an affiliate program through conversions-that is whenever a visitor that is directed to your site actually buys a product on your site. Without these conversions, you actually earn nothing from the program.
Now, you sure won’t get any conversion if you have posted an ad on your affiliate’s site without an actual landing page for the potential customer to be redirected into. It’s just like advertising a product without actually having a store to sell your product. Your advertisement may be enticing enough to encourage people to purchase a product, but without the landing page, how will they know how to purchase the product
It is therefore important to have landing pages for your ads because it is the only way for you to earn something in an affiliate program.
Many people make the mistake of making their website’s homepage as the landing page for their ads. The same is true for those who make use of other pages like a “contact us” page or a product page. Homepages are often designed to serve multiple users and contains a lot of links to other pages or to other websites. If you want to be successful in an affiliate program, you don’t want your landing page to cater to the needs of various people, most of which may not be really interested with your product.
When choosing a landing page, you must always have the customer directed into that page in mind. Therefore, your landing page must be relevant to the keywords and the contents you placed on your ad. It is important that the landing page can encourage your visitor to take action to purchase your product or at least provide leads for possible customers.
If you get into an affiliate marketing program without actually having a landing page, you’ll end up paying too much without getting anything in return. So if you still don’t have a landing page for your ads, you should start creating one now.
