5. Exchange links with your business associates, suppliers, clients, and other webmasters or buy high PR links for your web site. These are possible candidates to consider for link exchange. Let them know that by exchanging links, visitors from both websites can benefit from the valuable content together.
These are just a few ways to get more back links for your website. Remember that link building is a continuous process and taking help of link building services can easily help you with this. Business owners who are trying to promote their website often ask what is better: reciprocal or one-way links to their web site from the Link building Services or the services offering them the service to buy high PR links. Before we get into the pros and cons of each, lets first take a look at what the differences between them are. First, reciprocal links are when you link to a website and that website links back to you. Think of it as you and friend get together with complementary businesses and say your clients tend to use my service and my clients tend to use your service. How about I link to you and you link to me? Next, one-way links are when someone finds your website so interesting (and this can be for good or bad reasons) that they have to point it out and link to it. Maybe you wrote an article on a topic that is just so good that other web sites feel compelled to share it with their visitors. Or, maybe you wrote an article so controversial that people had to point out how crazy you were. Either way, if they link to you and you do not link back to them, that is a one-way link. The general consensus on, which is better, is that search engines generally give more weight to someone linking to your website using a one-way link and tend to discount the value of you having exchanged links with another site. So, if you can, try to get one-way links to your web site with the help of professional Link building Services of do it on your own. Does this mean that you cannot successfully market a website by utilizing traditional reciprocal link exchange strategies? No. In fact you can use reciprocal links to build a strong presence and vastly improve both your traffic from direct traffic from those links and the boost that search engines tend to give web sites that have lots of incoming links with just reciprocal links.

Deep linking has been a bit of a controversial subject over the past few years.
Most recreational webmasters completely ignore them, while others swear by them. Some Major League websites have gone as far as to create lawsuits against affiliates deep linking in an attempt to limit direct access to inner pages of their sites, like sales and order pages, claiming it undermines their sales process and bypasses advertisers.
Despite the controversy, for those in the know, deep links have become an essential part of their Link building Services and SEO strategy and the benefits are indisputable.
For those who don’t know what a deep link is, it is simply a link from a page on one website that links directly to an inner page of another website. Unlike what is commonly referred to as a backlink that simply links to the homepage, deep links typically point to a specific piece of information or relevant topic.
I’m a huge fan of Deep Links, while getting links to your homepage certainly has it’s place in SEO, it doesn’t even come close to the results you get from a deep link.
A recent report from Nielsen stated that in the year 2004, about 40% of people traveled to a website via the homepage and then drilled down to what they were looking for and only 60% arrived via a deep link.
In 2008, only 25% of all visitors arrived at websites via the homepage, the rest perform specific keyword searches and expect to go directly to the information they are looking for.
We live in an age where people have a serious attention deficit, and on top of that we expect instant gratification. Especially when it comes to technology like the Internet.
Google and other Search Engines know this, not only do they know it, but they are partially responsible for it. By creating smarter Search Engine algorithms and producing more relevant search results, users have become more accustomed to finding what they are looking for instantly.
It leads to reason that you should make it as easy as possible for the Search Engines to find and rank your inner pages.
Having an optimized internal linking structure for your site is important as well and it helps the Search Engine robots drill down through your site and create a list of pages for inclusion in their databases, but it does not guarantee that those pages will ever rank well in search results.
The reason for this is obvious, well maybe not obvious to us, but it is obvious for the search engines. You see, internal links are created by the webmaster and are very biased in nature, in other words, the SE’s cannot trust them.
Blame the thousands of unscrupulous webmasters that have tried to take advantage of the SE’s using sneaky black hat methods.
On the other hand, a one way deep link coming from another website pointing to an inner page on your site is like a direct, unbiased recommendation for the content on that page.
The search engine robots will follow these links and again using very smart algorithms and technology will extract data and determine the value of the page, links and thus inclusion in future search results.

There are other benefits to deep linking as well; some of these are fringe benefits that come as a result of having more traffic direct to inner pages on your site.
For example, advertising.
You can now sell advertising on these inner pages for a higher price once you prove the amount of traffic they are getting. This type of advertising is easier to sell as well, since the traffic is much more targeted and will convert to sales at a much higher rate.
You can easily prove your traffic by using free tools such as Google Analytics to get detailed traffic statistics.

One of the most vital part of the link building in Search Engine Optimization is the reciprocal link building. To promote the growth in the ranking of the website this is one of the most important things that you need to do. It is somewhat like an agreement that one website would post the link of another website while the other would do the same in return. It is a kind of text or banner link to a site in which both the sites have similar link to each other. It is a kind of agreement based on trust, as the webmasters doesn’t have much time to monitor whether the other site is maintaining the link on their site.
The fact is that too much of reciprocal links doesn’t always work better. Sometimes it is seen that some of the sites have hundreds of banner or text links on a single page and on visiting the linked paged you would find the same scenario. This is most unlikely to have such links, as such a thing can’t always bring more traffic. And therefore it is not a good idea to have lots of reciprocal links. Rather if you try to build up a few such relevant links, that would be a far better thing to do.
Moreover you should always know which site to link to. It is not likely that you go on linking to each and every site that is willing to link with you. Relevancy is the most important thing that is to be kept in mind and you should only link to the handful of most relevant sites. And if you choose sites relevant to the subject of your site, you can better maintain the interest level of your visitors in the topic they have gone through in your site.
However, you should avoid linking with those sites that are having blocked recips. In this case there are some sites who block the back links from the search engine spiders. Perhaps they want to show their sites to be having one-way links, or perhaps they want their site to appear to have fewer outbound links. This is not much a helpful thing for your site.
Moreover it is strongly recommended that reciprocal link building should be the part of the link building strategy not the sole concern of your marketing strategy. However most of the leading search engines check for the quality and the relevancy of the links that you are having. Therefore keep an eye on the relevancy of the sites that you are linking to. You should also often visit their links pages and examine them. Though it sometimes seem to be frustrating and time consuming to find out sites for link building but be sure that you efforts would not be in vain if you are in the right path gather better quality and relevant back links.
In order to get more relevant reciprocal links you can search in Google for link exchange websites which publish directories of website owners who exchange links with each other. But always be careful not to get involved in link firms which link to totally unrelated websites.

Link building is one such search engine optimization technique which helps in improving the search engine ranking of your website. The two main important links are back links and reciprocal links. Though the importance of back links are inevitable still the role of reciprocal or two way links cannot be denied. Reciprocal links are sites which link to a website & in turn that website links back to the former. There are two methods by which you can get reciprocal links, one by joining a link exchange website & requesting a reciprocal link & other by adding a link exchange page in your website.
Pros & cons of having reciprocal links:
Reciprocal links are an assured way of bringing steady as well as targeted traffic to your site. Being cost effective it is a great way of web marketing. They generate links quickly & effectively thus saving the precious time which is wasted in looking for a suitable link partner. Though the importance of reciprocal links cannot be denied but the fact holds true that they suffer from many shortcomings which restrict their use as well as effectiveness. On request of a link back webmasters usually do not link back thus enjoying the benefits of an inbound links. Moreover the links are buried to your link page which takes five to ten clicks to view the page. Your anchor text points to another landing page instead of directly pointing to yours when it is placed by the webmasters in their page. This leaves your anchor text with no relevance or worth. Webmasters deceive you by placing your link on their page but leave you with no way & space to navigate back to your site from theirs.
How to make reciprocal links effective:
• By exchanging links with appropriate websites which have high page ranking in the search engines. In other words quality should be maintained instead of quantity.
• The quantity of reciprocal links to your site least matters but the freshness & the exclusiveness of the content plays a vital role. The content should be knowledgeable as well as informative.

Google Strikes Again! Why Reciprocal Links Are Now Worthless

It is common knowledge that Google went from content based ranking to a link based ranking algorithm a few years ago. The way most people discovered this was by seeing their pages disappear from page one overnight. Unfortunately that same lesson is being learned again today as Google shifts from an “all link” model of determining popularity to one of “inbound only.”
It should not come as a big surprise. It?s been happening slowly for the past year or so but is now in overdrive. Pages that have dominated top spots for years are suddenly disappearing without a trace and linking is the key. In short, reciprocal links no longer count as they once did. Google expects to see one way inbound links in its top ranked sites. The reason apparently being that worthy sites can attract links without having to reciprocate.
Talk about a popularity contest! It reminds me of junior high school on Valentines Day where the most popular students would be buried in cards while sending out only a few of their own. Google even refers to inbound links as a form of ?votes.?
So how does Google judge the value of inbound links? Let?s just say a nod from the prom king or queen is a lot more desirable than one from the kid who had to escort his first cousin to the last school dance due to lack of options. But even still, every vote counts even if just a little.
I agree that it is sad and unfair that quality of content counts for so little but Google, perhaps naively, believes the links (or votes) will go to the most deserving sites naturally. I can?t change Google?s mind, but I can help you crack Google?s link value code. Just follow these simple steps.
First: Know your link targets. You want pages whose topics relate to your topic and with the highest PR possible.
Note: PR refers to Google PageRank which is a value assigned to the page on a scale of 1 to 10. Pages begin at 0 and earn PR points for various reasons. There are plenty of ones and twos but anything above three gets scarcer and more valuable. You can learn a page?s PR by using the Google Toolbar available at http://toolbar.google.com.
Second: Do not bother linking just to the home page, as was the proffered method not long ago. Google now likes to see deep links so make the majority of your links go to pages at least one level deep below the home page. And be sure that page is named after its main keyword, such as ?main-keyword.htm? or ?main-keyword.htm.?
Third: Make sure the pages you are linking to, link back to your home page by using their main keyword as anchor text.
Note: Anchor text is simply a clickable text link. It is usually a different color; such as blue and underlined to show it is a link. You want your main keyword to be a clickable link leading from the topic page to the home page.
Fourth: Be sure the inbound links you build consist of your main keywords embedded in anchor text.
Recap: So if ?online business services? was the main keyword the words ?online business services? would be embedded as anchor text leading to a page called ?online-business-services.htm? and that page would in turn link to the home page using ?online business services? as its anchor text link.
Fifth: Google scans not only the area immediately surrounding the anchor text but also the whole page of text around it. It will be looking for consistency of topic throughout the page so be sure your link is coming from a page closely related to the topic of the keyword you are targeting.
Note: This last part is one of the most important because if you can control what is on the page you are linking from, you can rocket to the top of Google. You can do this through blog postings, article publishing and even simple directory submissions. If you are in a hurry, try a pre-packaged solution that removes the guesswork. I use a combo training and automated software system called ?Link A Minute? (http://www.linkaminute.com) that does the trick for me. There are some good ones out there so look around and find one you like. Just do not try any link farms if you value any future placement on Google.
Follow these tips and you can steal a top spot on Google in no time.

On the road to achieving prominent search engine placement, many webmasters are stuck in that SEO fork in road when it comes to building relevant site content. The chief concern is whether to focus on building page content or incoming links. There are many arguments for both sides when discussing building content versus link building campaigns, but from a practical stand point, shouldn’t the primary concern be aimed towards gaining prominent placement on the search engines using any legitimate means available?
Relevancy is the number 1 aspect of your website when viewed through the eyes of the search engine. The amount of relevant incoming links to your site is how Google determines and awards PageRank. In addition to having relevant organic content on your pages, incorporating link building into your SEO strategy is not only valuable, but prudent as well.
The argument regarding link building is which method works better and will deliver the highest PR value. For those who are new to the use of site linking there are 2 methods of link building: one way links, and reciprocal links.
One way linking building is exactly what its name says: Links point to your site from another domain or site on the Internet. Google and other search engines consider one way or incoming links as an indication of the value or importance of your site’s content. Incoming links can target your site’s home page, specific pages, or both. A perfect example of the use of an incoming link is a trackback or comment about your site, or a page on your site that is the result from a discussion or comment on an Internet forum or blog site.
Reciprocal links or link exchanges are created when 2 sites link to one another. There are no requirements for this link building relationship other than both sites continue linking to each other in order to maintain the reciprocal relationship. The downside to using reciprocal links is that relevancy is not required in order to create the linking relationship. Google and other search engines favor links that are rich in relevancy over generic reciprocal links. It is possible however to build relevant reciprocal links.
The next concern webmasters face is where they can obtain relevant links for their website. There are quite many options available online, some in the form of paid software and others offer linking services. The method in which you choose should be investigated thoroughly before including it into your site, and above all, remember that your link building campaign should be based on relevancy.

4 Terrific Tips for Getting Better Links From Other Web Sites

Basically, if your website is any good, you will have other webmasters submitting requests to you asking if you will link to their website in exchange for a link back to your site from their site. That is a reciprocal link. We then have to ask ourselves if this is a good idea or not? You have control over your website thankfully, and you can make commercial decisions as to whether a link exchange benefits you. Here are some pointers to consider if a link to your site is worthy of reciprocating.
1. Does The Other Site Have Any Relevance To Your Site?
There are different schools of thought regarding how important relevance is when accepting link requests. I have seen evidence to suggest that it is not critical and that you will benefit from links from most sites. Whilst common sense suggests that a link from a site with a similar theme to yours is likely to bring in link minded visitors, probably the best advice I have had is that which suggested putting yourself in the mind of your visitors. If you feel that the link you are proposing would be of interest to your visitors, then it is probably a good link to have.
2. How Many Links Should You Have On A Page?
Before you agree to a link from a third party site, you should ask for the exact location where the link will be held, and you should take the time to examine it. The first think you should check for (apart from the fact that the site is working) is how many links there are on that page. If there are hundreds of links on a page, and assuming that the page does not carry any page rank, then you could be wasting your time. If the page carries rank then having your link on the page could be worthwhile, but to be honest, any more than around 75 links and you should probably not bother.
3. Check The Site’s Page Rank On Google
Google applies a mystical formula to websites, and gives them a score called Page Rank. You can use page rank to help you assess the quality of a page. Or at least, PR gives you some idea of how Google views the site. You can see a site’s PR by installing the Google toolbar. Remember that PR is a gauge of how Google sees a site. The other big search engines do work independently of PR.
4. Is A Site Better If The Links Are Categorized?
If links are organised properly, it does give you an idea of the type of people behind the site. A slapdash site may well be indicative of slapdash owners, and that might be something that you should be wary of. By the same token, try and organise your links as well. They will appear more attractive to the search engines if there is a theme to the links, as well as more attractive to prospective link partners.
What you should have now is some ideas of a link building strategy that allows you to make good decisions based on sound principles, and now you should be better placed to make those decisions.
