Landing pages are becoming more and more critical for business success online. If you do not have a targeted landing page, it will be difficult to get the results you want from your audience. In order to perfect your landing page it will likely require a good bit of testing and tweaking. Below you will find three tops for landing page optimization that will help you get a more favorable reaction from your audience. And a great way to improve your conversion rate is analize your data, always do test to see what give results in the real world. Conversion Prophet is the best software for this tasks.

You can’t afford not to have a page that loads easily. Don’t add too many unnecessary graphics and make it slow. Potential customers are turned off by pages that take too long to load. The main purpose of your landing page is conversions; avoid graphics that take the attention away from that goal. Avoid using too much code, to many pictures, or anything else that distracts visitors from the main purpose of your landing page. Focus on the copy instead, in order to make it more effective. Every business website needs a good sales page. This is the page where you talk to your audiences about your business, and invite them to subscribe to your products and services. You not only inform them about your business but more importantly convince them to sign up, as you provide them with the things they need.

But not all people are easily convinced by the sales articles posted on the site’s sales page. Thus, if you want to do effective website promotion and attract more targeted leads to sign up and buy your goods and services, then here are some pointers you have to consider:

First, be informative. Doing a sales talk these days no longer has to be purely selling and marketing-you have to support your lines with facts and helpful information. Your target audience is looking for answers to their questions, not just the annoying sales talk which they have to purchase-that doesn’t help at all. Today’s website marketing strategy consists of actual knowledge that explains to your visitors about the cause and solutions to their issues, answers which they can apply in practice. Through helpful information, your audiences would sure be enticed to sign up with your site.

The next thing you should do when setting up a sales page is to highlight the strengths of your business. This is important because people will know what you can give them, and what will be their money’s worth. Make sure that the features you promote are either in bold, capital letters, or in slightly bigger fonts. This makes it easier for your audiences to read your items and evaluate them right away.

Another effective website marketing strategy you must do is to use white space. Having a clear, white background on your website enables your target market to read better and scroll better on your page. Dark backgrounds and contrasting colors will only make your site annoying, and you would lose more potential customers because of this.

Post a video on your page. Videos are truly of great help to every website promotion technique you would want to apply on your site. By posting videos, your audiences would see who they are dealing with, as well as find out how your services exactly work. You would also add a personal touch by being on the video, and you can speak to your audiences from there.

Videos themselves are already a stand alone website marketing strategy. When you post videos on social media sites such as YouTube, you get to inform your audiences orally about your site, and what it can give them. Some people prefer watching videos first before they proceed to the paperwork, so it is best to have them on your page.

Setting up a sales page is actually easy, as long as you know how to use the right words and media to entice your audiences. This website promotion technique would then help in generating more targeted leads which are a key in making your business prosper, and of course, more money to your bank account. Generally landing page is that page of website where visitors reach or land directly by the route of search engines or incoming links. A landing page is considered as gateway to the website. It is only by chance that visitors land into those pages due to the optimization effort done by the website promoter and they call it as landing page. But some webmasters still have the wrong assumption that home page or index page is the landing page of the website. Some consider the product page to be the landing page in case of dynamic websites.

Those who use PPC campaign to promote their product generally try to create an effective landing page in order to maximize the sale. A landing page must be effective so that it could impress and convince the visitors when they land there for a few seconds. It is important to optimize each and every page for the visitors but a few pages that can convert into landing pages requires some extra efforts and care.

There should be an effort to create an effective landing page for specific keywords for a general website in SEO Services. It must be found out which pages of your website are frequently visited or landed and for which keywords. It must be remembered that you are required to target the specific page for that keyword.

It must be remembered that no settings are permanent and according to the basic rule of seo services that focus everything on one specific topic or keyword and this would enable you to accomplish your single goal.

So you want to be one page one google and page one bing? PAGE ONE GOOGLE are you kidding me? For any keyword?

Yes, I am telling you it is entirely possible to be on page one of Google and page one of Bing and all the major search engines (and the minor ones for that matter-but why? hardly anyone uses those).

First of all to get on page one of Google or Bing you have to think about this: There is already someone on page one of google and page two of google! So what does that mean? It means if there is already someone there, then YOU can be there! Someone has already done it!

You just have to be as smart about getting there as they were, or smarter! ]

I charge a ton of money to get people there because what I have discovered over the past 15 years works! plain and simple. For those who want to get their company and website to page one Google and page one Bing, listen up, I am going to tell you a few key points to help you get there……..or rather, what NOT to do!

Why would you want to be on page one of Google or Bing anyway? All that traffic, all that attention……haven’t you worked long and hard enough so you now deserve to be hidden and not noticed? GET OFF of YOUR Quest to be on page one of Google……Make sure you are following these items exactly!

Here are a few DO and DON’TS (Don’t do the following unless you WANT to be one page one Google or page one Bing)

1. Do NOT put your keyword in your URL- Google doesnt like that, and when researching for relevancy, people always like to have to look deep for their answers, it makes them feel better.

2. Do NOT include your Keyword in your domain name – It just confuses people and especially the search engine spiders

3. Never include your keyword in your title tag – This practice is sure to get you banned!

4. Don’t put you keyword in your description tag either! EVER!

5. Don’t even think of including your keyword in your H1, H2, or H3 tags – They are there just for looks!

6. Don’t use any keywords in your Alt test image tags – no one uses computers that are old or slower anymore!

7. Over stuff your index page with your keywords, the more the better……..Google won’t even notice!

8. Link your site to other websites that have nothing to do with your product, company or service.

9. Immediately send your visitors to another page other than the one they clicked on, using meta refresh

10. Place your keywords in invisible text on each page!

11. Never use any anchor text in inbound links to your site.

12. Don’t get listed in sites like DMOZ directory. People do not need to find you!

13. Getting listed in Yahoo’s directory is way overrated, DON’T do it!

14. If you have a site that is older than 1 year, dump it. Site age works against you, Google likes new and fresh sites! (call me before you do this and we’ll dispose of your old site, heh heh)

15. Cloak your site so that when you present one page to the search engine spider, you present another to everyone else – Google loves to guess!

16. Buy all your links from link farms! For sure! Google likes it when you “think outside the box”

17. Be sure and put all your text into graphic format, so that the search spiders can see them better

18. DO NOT build links over time and make sure, do not try to build links with other sites that have high page ranks or happen to be in the same industry as yours. Google likes diversificaiton.

There you have it, the 18 Top Ways to insure that you will NEVER be on page one of Google, Bing, Yahoo or most any search engine.

Now as you know, there are many factors to page one Google, Bing and Yahoo dominance, but this is a great place to start and get noticed.

Seriously,each of these search engines, Google especially, are constantly changing the way they rank and show things…..this is a good thing. It makes it better for the user. More and more relevancy. Each time someone searches for something on the web, they want to find it, plain and simple.

My hat’s off to Google, Bing and Yahoo for doing such a great job at this and continuing to fine tune what makes that happen. It makes the whole experience better for everyone and it makes it even more important when you are planning or redoing your website, to make it relevant and make it true to what it’s really about.

Getting page one google placement is king. Start by being smart about and thinking like your customer or end user would think (and don’t forget to pay attention to the 18 things above!)

Generate Leads with Your Real Estate Landing Page

There are many real estate agents out there who either don’t know what a landing page is, or they don’t know how to use a landing page to produce leads. One of the best ways to generate leads through your real estate website is by using a landing page.

The landing page is where a potential client “lands” upon reaching your real estate website. You can create different landing page for specific purposes. For example, you can create a landing page for clients looking to avoid foreclosure and put information on that page that focuses on short sales and avoiding foreclosure.

A landing page should be designed to increase a potential client’s desire to contact you and make it very easy for them to contact you. All landing pages will vary based on the offer, the marketing strategy, and the product or service being provided. But they will all have some basic traits in common, such as:

1. The headline and subject matter should identify with your target audience, using simple, straightforward language that they will understand. This way impatient readers will get the information they need within a few seconds of landing on your page.

2. Any introductory statements should reinforce the headline and expand on whatever the headline is promising to your clients. It would also be a good idea to include a hyperlink that allows your clients to take some kind of action, whether it is to contact you or to purchase something.

3. When it comes to conversion rates, using “virtual cover” images has been proven time and time again to work better than using just text-only descriptions to entice clients.

4. Use bullet points to accent the featured selling points on your landing page. This will draw more attention to that important information. You might also want to consider including a bullet point that reiterates whatever call-to-action you have at the top of the landing page. This makes having a client take action twice as likely.

5. In case you have impatient clients that just skim through the first two hyperlinks on your landing page, include a big, colorful button at the bottom that can’t possibly be missed.

6. Copy is possibly the most important part of any landing page. It needs to be thick with keywords and phrases that are relevant to your real estate website. This will help your landing page get higher search engine rankings. You need to get as much traffic coming to your landing page as possible before you can generate any leads.

Now that you have potential clients coming to your real estate landing page, what happens when they actually click on those hyperlinks or that big, colorful button? There are several possibilities to look into. The most important thing is that you capture a lead for eventual follow-up, or even get the reader to contact you directly.

One way to do this is by building a contact form with a thank you page. This option allows your clients to fill out a brief contact form that either requests to be contacted or requests more information. The form will only ask for the most basic contact information, such as the client’s name and email address. Once the client submits the form, a thank you page will pop up.

Another option would be to use a form with an auto-responder. This option allows the information the client requests to be sent directly to them as an auto-response email. This encourages people to subscribe to newsletters.

The last option is to have people simply email you requesting information. This is an easier method to put in place, but it might take more work on your part. With this option, the reader simply emails you to request free information, and you send a reply email with their request. You get the same results with this low-tech approach.

How To Make A Good Landing Page – A Quick 5 Point Checklist

When doing PPC advertising the landing page plays a significant role in your success. A bad landing page will “kill” even the most targeted visitor and he will leave your website. With more PPC ad networks putting a lot of emphasis on “Quality Score” and related pieces it becomes even more critical to have a great converting landing page. Here is a quick checklist that will help you to evaluate your landing pages and to make better ones if needed.

1) Call to Action

Are you telling your visitors what to do or do you let them decide what they should do (most likely leave your website using the wrong exit)? A clear call to action is necessary (!) in making a good landing page. The visitor needs to recognize immediately what the (landing) page is trying to sell him/her.. Use very clear readable text (extremely easy to understand). Use large generic fonts and eventually spice them up with unique graphics and icons. Be careful not do over-do it, because you do not want your sales pitch to be lost in the middle of a freakin’ “image war”. ;)

2) Match the look and feel of the existing website

Under no circumstances a landing page should be totally different in design than the rest of the website. Maintain the same look and the same colors. You can play with the navigation bar a little bit and “hide” at the bottom of the landing page to reduce the leakage. You want your visitors to exit through the (cloaked) affiliate link. Make sure all links to other pages of your website open a new browser window so that the landing page stays open at all times.

3) Place the Sales content above the fold

It’s very important for your conversion rate to keep all of the important information and the SIGN UP button above the fold of the page. The fold of a webpage is the point where a visitor would have to scroll down inside the browser window to see the remaining content of the landing page. Landing pages should stick to a 800 x 600 resolution to meet 99% of all screen resolutions still out there. If somebody is browsing the web with a 640 x 480 resolution they would not see a forest because of all the trees anyway.

4) Content on Landing Pages

Since the implementation of the Quality Score by PPC advertising networks many advertisers have seen their minimum bid prices go through the roof, because their landing pages do not meet the quality standards required nowadays. Especially Google Adwords requires that people clicking on those links have a “quality experience” when hitting the landing page of an advertiser. The “bots” of the PPC networks scan the landing pages and the surrounding pieces of the website to determine if the requirements of the quality rules are met or not. If your landing page is mainly made from a sliced Photoshop image there is not much that helps to determine the quality of your landing page. Therefore it is highly critical to have actual text content on your landing pages to help Google and the other PPC networks to “read” your landing page properly and to assign a quality score.

5) Page Navigation

A landing page needs to be considered a part of a website. It therefore requires the ability for the visitor to visit the rest of the website. Certain navigation pieces need to be in place to help with achieving a great quality score. Two navigational links are the absolute minimum to have. A link to the “Homepage” and a link to the “Privacy Policy” are considered to be essential. The more links the better. Include a link to a “Sitemap” as well as an link to an “About us” page. Here is a neat little trick that helped me to achieve great quality scores. Add links to related products of the product you are trying to promote. This type of links apparently makes the impression that the landing page is really part of an overall website and not just an “add on”.

To get your website on the top of ranking and to gain more out of your business it is very much important that you pay proper attention on the Search Engine Optimization of your website. The Search Engine Optimization means to complete and specialized study of the working of the search engines and to optimize your website in the manner so that it can get better ranking on the search engine result pages. In the most common context the Internet users prefer to visit those pages that appear on the top ten list of the search results provided by the search engines based on the key words you have mentioned. Therefore for the website owners it is very much important to get within the top ten ranking. What good is the creation of a website if it is not visited by the Internet users. Therefore because of this very reason the Search Engine Optimization of a website is the most essential.

Now for the purpose of the Search Engine Optimization there are a lot of things that are to be done. The most important thing about the Search Engine Optimization is the link building. Without it no optimization of the Search Engines is possible. Therefore because of this reason the link building is also known as the heart of the Search Engine Optimization. Even the link building in itself is quite a wide concept. There are a lot of things that are related to the link building of a website. One of such link building process is the reciprocal link building. The reciprocal link building is a kind of agreement between two websites in which both of the sites agree to publish the link of the other one on their site. These links are banner links which can be either in the form of text links or any other form of banner links of the other site on that site.

But before exchanging links with a site there are a few things that are to be well kept in mind. In the first case or the first priority for reciprocal link exchange should be the relevancy of the contents and the website. You should always pay proper attention and see that the website that you are going to exchange links with is relevant to your website or are relevant to the contents of your website. Another thing important is to watch carefully that the other site you are exchanging links with does not use any kind of cloaking means so that the links on their page may not be visible by the search engine spiders. The fact is that sometimes some use such techniques to show that they have only one way links therefore in that case those sites are not of any good to your website. And therefore you should avoid the link exchange with those sites. Another important thing about the reciprocal links is that to keep an eye on the site that you are exchanging links with maintains your link on their pages. It is often seen that during the up gradation of the websites these links are often forgotten and therefore the purpose of reciprocal link building is not served any more. Therefore you should also pay attention on this matter also while building reciprocal links.
