So, the term “link building ” will certainly look strange and alien most of the people, since they are not used in developing websites and are way too busy to know about stuff like this! I will now help you know what it is all about in the simplest way possible.
What is link building?
Link building is nothing but directing lot of links to a desired web page, an article, even the most popular websites. Why one needs to do that? Just advertise in news paper, put large banners in the city, have the website printed at the back of cinema tickets, which will do right? , You might be having this thought right now… Your idea is correct, but only up to a certain extent, imagine the cost involved for all the above. It is totally impossible for an aspiring young kid who has just started a website out of his pocket money, so how -does one advertise by spending only a minimum amount of money? Simple, just have a nice content for the website that has plenty of keywords, for example, if I fill this article with words like “link building”, “free article”, author bio”, promote articles. Now, when you go to www.google.com and type “free article”, you will find links that will direct you to my article. Hope that you have understood what link building is. It is just to make sure that appropriate links appear at appropriate places, so that the users are redirected to the website, and once this is done, the website grows and gradually the business grows too.
But wait! Is this the only way to drive traffic to my website? You may ask. No, certainly not, there are different ways in which link build can be done like the one in which the webmasters buy high PR links for their websites or the one which includes professional Link building Services . What we saw is the most important way of doing it. The other equally important way of link building is through reciprocal linking. In simple terms, two websites which have mutual understanding between them share their links even though the natures of the websites are irrelevant. But this technique is certainly fading out as users do not like to be redirected to a website that is of no relevance to the present website that they are viewing.
Knowing this, the .com owners have now adapted another method of building links called the “relative link building”, the reason is, internet giants like www.google.com asses a website based on this relative linking. Google gauges different websites based on the quality, quantity and relevance of the links present in them. So it becomes extremely important for a new .com owner to have all these aspects present in their website. By adding these aspects to the article, it will gradually increase the number of users visiting these websites. Also these Link building Services should promote good articles with a reward of some kind, when an article writer gets appreciated, it will automatically lead to the generation of quality articles which indirectly helps link building to a large extent. This is like a chain reaction that increases the business of the website undoubtedly. The articles published should be from various fields so that it will contain all the keywords needed for the link building and as time progresses, world wide users will be much familiar about the website. Since it got has got the quality, the talent, the work force, and it reaches every user like a virus. However, this doesn’t stop the owner of the website to adapt some other not-so good ways of doing link building like “multi way linking” which fools the search, there by displaying the website address at the top, but searching engines are constantly on a look out for these kind of websites and are making sure that these websites are degraded! All the entrepreneur needs is honesty and hard work that will make his/her .com dreams a reality for sure!

Remember, there will be links back to your website within the articles that you have written. So, the more sites that display your articles, the more backlinks will come back to you.
There are also article submission softwares that you can use to speed up the process of submitting to each of the directories. However, it still does take a decent amount of time to submit each article. That is why many people are turning to services to submit all of their articles. Site owners find their time better spent focusing on how to grow their business and convert more sales.
When you write an article, other webmasters can use the article on their site as long as they leave the entire article intact, including the links that point back to your site. Usually these links exist in the resource box, so be sure to write a well thought one.
There is really no good reason not to be submitting articles. Between the traffic it can bring to your site via the readers and the inbound links you will get to help you in the search engines, it should be a very large part of your marketing efforts.

It is not a secret that one of the ideal techniques for getting traffic and one way links to your Website is to write content articles and submit them to article directories. It’s free of charge and relatively easy.
The article submission process is basic:
Compose a short article that includes several links to your Web sites
You distribute it to an article publication site
They share it to sites, complete with your hyperlinks
You get inbound links and targeted visitors.
Five to six years ago, there were only a handful of article directory sites. Posting articles to them was useful, and generated page views and backlinks, but it was difficult work. Each and every website had it’s own format, rules, and linking policies and distributing a short article to even a few article directory sites took an hour or more. A few tools arrived that simplified the process somewhat, but many of these tools simply filled in form fields . You still needed to register for each website by hand and you also had to manually check to make certain all of the fields were filled in when you submitted content articles.

If the search engines can’t figure that out, it can’t rank your website properly. Hence, you have little chance of ranking well in the search engines.
But how do search engines come across your website int eh first place?
The search engines find your website through links. These are external links pointing to your URL. The more inbound links you have, the better your rankings will be.
Expert SEO marketers understand this, and they know how to build links quickly, and effectively. One popular method that is no longer a secret now, is web directory submission.
The main purpose of web directories is to provide a list of relevant links to the online visitors. Marketers are quick to realize the SEO value of such websites. In fact, it’s almost too good to be true.
