You can begin with a major internet directory and should think about getting links from a free general topic directory and a niche directory. There are often special deals for buying a combination of both services.

An inbound link doesn’t need the inclusion of a link back to that page on your website. This benefits your own site rather than linking it out to partners. The higher the search engines rank that link the more weight the link carries.

A site wide link means that a link to your website is placed on many different pages in a site. It is true that search engines will give less weight to links like this, but it does offer some value in overall appearance.

A way to produce some great links is by writing and submitting a digital press release that used by other sites related to yours. You can find a free press release distribution service, but you may find that you have to pay to make the link clickable and to use anchor text.

A common way of producing many links is by writing and submitting articles to article directories. You are able to submit one article to a number of directories with each directory having the possibility of generating interested websites.

Don’t waste your time with a site that freely allows anyone to post any link they want on the site. Search engines are known to completely ignore sites like these, and besides they won’t generate any natural profitable traffic for you.”
